Are you struggling with depression and anxiety? Feeling hopeless or unmotivated?
Are you thinking about change and wanting to take action? Are your fears interfering with this plan?
Do you want to explore your values and best hopes for your life?
We can work together to help you to:
Understand how your emotions and thoughts contribute to your challenges and help you increase your self-love and compassion.
Start down the path of self-exploration, personal growth, and healing.
Improve your mental, emotional, spiritual wellbeing and relationships.
Starting counselling can feel like a big step. While therapy can be challenging at times, it can also lead to growth and increased self-love and acceptance that will help you have a more fulfilled, authentic life.
APPROACH TO COUNSELLING
If you feel stuck in your life, I want to help you find your inner voice and support you on your journey to healing, self-love, and acceptance. I will work collaboratively with you to help you reach your goals and guide you in exploring your thoughts, emotions, and challenges. I use an integrative approach to counselling to draw on what I think will be most effective and helpful. I also approach therapy with a holistic framework, which means that I believe it is essential to balance the body, mind, and spirit. I think people have strengths and existing resources, and I aim to offer an empathic, non-judgmental, and caring, safe place where clients can reach their true potential, connect with their inner wisdom, and heal.
You can expect that I will check in with you to ensure that we are on track with what you want to talk about and get out of the sessions. If the sessions are not going how you would like them to, I hope you will feel safe enough to bring this up so that we can change directions to better meet your needs. Therapy is not always easy. Frequently, change can feel uncomfortable and emotionally painful; however, this discomfort can lead to healing, personal growth, and empowerment.
